UI components/widgets. I wish we had something like Material UI or Radix built-in to the standards for people to compose pages out of building blocks with. Things like async autocomplete fields with love previews (think Google search or Typesense) should be a simple HTML component.
That, and a good WYSIWYG editor that supports modern frameworks and understands component trees. Like a Figma for real React components.
I miss Dreamweaver and Frontpage. And especially Visual Studio. Building basic web UIs shouldn't be this hard. So many businesses and sites have similar needs but everyone ends up reinventing so much of it from scratch.
